Established in 2014 the International Nerdlesque Festival has our active years archived in gallery form for all to enjoy, reminisce, and enjoy the pure talent and spectacle exhibited by all of our gifted performers.
The International Nerdlesque Festival returns to DC September 11-12 2026 ✨️
We are currently casting for two shows. All gender expressions, racial and cultural makeups and body types are encouraged to apply. Please read ALL descriptions for full information and requirements for applying for the following shows.
+ NERDVANA: Retro Revival (Friday, September 11th)
NERDVANA: Retro Revival is our kickoff event. We are looking for acts that pay homage to the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Bring your biggest and boldest acts out!
+ The International Nerdlesque Festival Saturday Showcase (Saturday, September 12th)
TINF main show is our homage to a classic burlesque show. There is no theme, just give us your nerdy best.
+APPLICATION PROCESS+
- Applications will be accepted from Tuesday January 20th (1/20), until Friday, March 20th (3/20) 11:59 EST.
- Notification emails will be sent out by Thursday, April 30th (4/30). All applicants will receive a response.
- Application must be completed in full. Please do not leave blank slots. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- You must be 18+ to apply to perform.
- If you are not selected to be in the festival this year, you are encouraged to apply next year!
